It is pads with 3D polyester fabric covers, with a waterproof fabric base, filled with 1kg of bio-absorbent fibers, to be used in spills on land, oil leaks from machinery or engine maintenance, acting as oil collectors. and hydrocarbons in general. It absorbs and encapsulates up 7 liters of hydrocarbons depending on its density.
Applications
To be used in hydrocarbon spills or leaks on land, oil losses from machinery or engine maintenance, acting as oil and hydrocarbon collectors in general, the waterproof base prevents the hydrocarbon from leaching when it is saturated:
- Absorbent: Its polyester face has a great filtering capacity until it reaches the fiber which absorbs encapsulating up to 7 liters and its waterproof face prevents the fluid from reaching the ground.
- Protection: It prevents the hydrocarbon from leaching and contaminating the soil.
- Endurance: Resistant to high temperatures, wind, absorbs oils, greases, hydrocarbons, solvents, salts, among others.
- Limitations: As with other materials with polyester, absorbent cushions should be taken to incineration ovens for their total elimination.
